Beginning July 1, 2022, retailers shipping to Colorado are required by law to collect and remit an additional fee. In this article, we'll discuss specifics and talk about how this may affect your business.
Retail Delivery Fee
The Colorado Department of Revenue requires that merchants shipping to any location inside of Colorado collect and remit an additional $0.27 "Retail Delivery Fee". If you are affected by this, we highly recommend discussing the best way to implement this fee with your agency, or with Shopify support.
