Creating Cancellation & Return Reasons

Pickup Hub Super Users can create and edit cancellation and return reasons for all dealers. This help page will outline the steps.

Creating Cancellation and Return Reasons

From the Pickup Hub Dashboard, navigate to Settings > Cancel & Return Reasons

You'll see a pre-populated list of Cancellation and Return reasons, each on their respective tabs. This list is available to, and identical for, all Pickup Hub dealers. 

To create a new Cancellation or Return reason, click the NEW+ button.

A "Create Reason" modal window will appear. You can select your reason Type from the dropdown menu. For our example, we will create a new Cancellation reason.

Enter the Description of the new reason. Click Save to add the reason. (NOTE: By default, all Pickup Hub Cancellation & Returns reasons are not editable by clients/dealers.)

By default, the new reason will be at the bottom of the list. You can click the arrows in the Sort column to move it up or down the list. For our example, our list is alphabetical so we will use the Sort arrows to move it up.

The order of the list will be reflected on the dealer view. As you can see from the example below, the alphabetical list we created is also alphabetical on the dealer dashboard.

Back on the reasons list, if you wish to Edit an existing reason, click on the reason itself to bring the modal window back up.

Edit the description as needed, and click Save. The reason will be updated on the list.

If you wish to Delete a reason, click on the Reason name and then click the Delete button on the modal window. The reason will be removed from the list.

Any additions or changes to the master list is immediately reflected in each dealer's cancellation/return modal window.
