I understand you can integrate Lightspeed's gift cards with my website. I also understand there's an old version and a new version of gift cards within Lightspeed. Does it matter which version I use with your integration?

Yes, you are correct, we can integrate Lightspeed-based gift cards with your Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, or Magento website. This feature allows you to redeem in-store gift cards on your website, allowing customers to use these "plastic gift cards" for online purchases. You can also sell gift cards off your website. These eGift Cards can be used in-store just like any other gift card.
To answer the second part of your question, you will need to be using the most recent version of Lightspeed's Gift Card feature. If you're concerned that you may be using a legacy version of Lightspeed gift cards, we recommend contacting Lightspeed customer support.
