Overview
When configuring your integration (or after your integration has been completed), you have the option to choose whether sales tax gets calculated on your E-Commerce Platform (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, etc.), or in Epicor Eagle.
Retain Sales Tax
Where Sales Tax gets calculated is decided by something called the "Retain Sales Tax Flag". Initially, Modern Retail will set this based on what you ask for in the Onboarding Center. We can change this at a later date as well, but you'll have to submit a support request from the Admin Panel to request it.
Please contact your Project Manager with any additional questions, or submit a support request in the Admin Panel if your project was already completed.
