Overview
Rewind is a data backup & restoration service that some of our clients have worked with in the past. In this article, we'll talk a little about what it is that Rewind does, and why you might need them.
Rewind
Rewind primarily does two things: data backups, and data copying. Both services are available for Shopify and BigCommerce storefronts (so if you're using WooCommerce or Magento, you'll have to find another comparable service).
Data Backups are used in the event of an emergency. If a glitch, mistake, or bad actor causes something important to break or get deleted, data backups let you "rewind" back to the last time your storefront was working.
Rewind's "Copy" service lets you essentially copy key elements of your storefront in case you need to set a new one up. It's sort of like their data backup service, except it's intended to duplicate, rather than restore.
