Multi-Location BOPIS Order Fulfillment

The Pickup Hub supports multi-location BOPIS orders. Fulfillment works just like single-location BOPIS orders with a few additional functionalities to assist fulfillment teams.

How It Works

When a customer places an order with multiple locations, the order gets "split" for each location on the order. The example order below shows a customer placed an order for pickup at the East Dallas and Fairview locations.

The customer receives separate order notification emails for each location. In our example, the customer received an order notification for the East Dallas store, and a separate one for the Fairview store.

For your Store Fulfillment Team, each team receives their own New Order Notification, showing only the items to be fulfilled from their location.

In the Pickup Hub, the order gets "split" between each location. For our example, the order number for the East Dallas location is #24021, while the order number for the Fairview location is #24021-1.

Clicking on the order brings up an Order View for that location's items. Order #24021 only shows the East Dallas item; order #24021-1 only shows the Fairview item.

One Pickup Hub feature for multi-location BOPIS orders is the ability to sort the orders by location. This allows Store Fulfillment Users to see only the orders for their location (or the locations they have permissions for). There are two ways to accomplish this:

  1. Under In-Store Pickup > Orders > Locations, users can select the Location they wish to view, and then hit Apply. In the example below, we sorted to view the East Dallas locations.

2. You can also control what locations your Store Fulfillment Users see via Users > Users > Permissions. Under In-Store Pickup > Orders > Select the stores you wish the user to access > Save. When that user is logged in, they will only see the locations they have permission for.

Multi-Location BOPIS orders are fulfilled just like a Single Location BOPIS order. The customer will receive status change email notifications for each location as the order is fulfilled.
