Modern Retail continuously collaborates with AIM POS to enhance our integration. To simplify the process for our clients, AIM POS has developed an easy-to-use button that ensures your integration is properly configured and equipped with the latest features.
Known as the "Magic Button," this feature allows you to quickly update and confirm your integration settings—just press it, and you're all set!
Using the Magic Button
To locate and use the Magic Button in AIM POS:
- Navigate to Maintenance
- Go to Active-e > Active-e Setup > E-Commerce & API > 3 API > General 2 tab
- Locate the Setup Modern Retail button
- Click the button to update and verify your integration settings
- Write down the Modern Retail Username and Password Generated by the Magic Button. You will get a popup message with the credentials. These will need to be provided to AIM POS Support and Modern Retail.

Once you've pressed the Setup Modern Retail button, your integration should be properly configured!
