Overview
Variant Level Pricing, or "Item Level Pricing", refers to the concept of pricing each variant of a product separately, rather than the parent product's price determining each of the variants. Different ecommerce platforms handle this differently, so in this article we'll talk about how WooCommerce handles it.
How Does WooCommerce Handle Item Level Pricing?
WooCommerce essentially uses item level pricing by default! This means if you were selling coats, you could price a large coat differently from a small coat in the same style. The upsides to this are obvious-being able to easily customize your product prices for variable or gridded products is incredibly useful for a wide variety of merchandise.
