Overview
In order for our dev team to begin work on your integration, we'll need your ProfitSystem API credentials. These allow us to access your ProfitSystem backend, so we can perform all the work we need to in order to get your integration up and running.
What are the API Credentials?
"API" stands for Application Programming Interface. It's a way of allowing two separate programs to interact with each other, for example allowing data to be automatically transferred. The API credentials we refer to here are what allows a program to access another, so not just anyone can get in.
For the purpose of this project, we'll be using your API credentials to get access to things like the product data kept by ProfitSystem. Typically ProfitSystem API credentials consist of three things:
- A Username
- A Password
- One or more Connector URLs.
Please enter all three in the secure form located in the Modern Retail ProfitSystem Onboarding page. This information will be securely stored and used exclusively for your integration project.
