Onboarding - Mapping Documents

Overview

In order to complete your integration project, Modern Retail will need two documents from you: A customer mapping document, and an order mapping document. This article will describe what these are, and how you should get them to us.

Customer Mapping

In order to complete your integration project, Modern Retail will need to map all the attributes required by IFS to matching attributes required by your ecommerce platform. All the attributes required by IFS will need to be assigned to the relevant attribute from your ecommerce platform. Because of IFS's customizability, and the variety of ecommerce platforms we support, we're unable to give more specific guidelines on this topic.

Please upload this customer mapping document as a word doc. If you're unsure of how to proceed, we recommend getting in touch with your IT professional, or IFS. If you're still unsure, please feel free to contact your Modern Retail project manager.

Order Mapping Document

Similarly, we'll need an order mapping document describing how you would like the order attributes to be assigned to the attributes in your ecommerce platform. Just like with the customer mapping document, we recommend getting in touch with IFS or your IT professional for assistance. Please upload it as a word doc, and feel free to get in touch with your Modern Retail project manager with any questions you may have.
