Why do I Need Epicor Compass?
The Modern Retail Epicor Eagle integration requires Epicor Compass in order to get frequent & consistent updates from your POS system. It uses Compass to get current information on your inventory, pricing, gift cards, etc., which we then use to keep your website up to date. Without Compass, the integrator can't get the information it needs to send the necessary data to your website, so we require that you use Epicor Compass.
What Exactly Does Compass do?
Epicor Compass is primarily a data reporting & analysis tool. You can use Compass to view basically any information collected by your POS system. You can use Compass to generate reports (or, put simply, to view) this information in a variety of contexts, such as in the form of a graph, or just the raw numbers.
How do I Get Compass?
