Overview
In order for Modern Retail to begin working on your integration, we'll need access to your WooCoomerce site. For this to happen, you'll need to invite us from the WooCommerce backend. This article will quickly show you how to do this, so we can get started on your integration project ASAP.
What Should I do?
First, go to the backend of your site. This should be something like "sitename.com/wp-admin". From there, you'll want to click on Users in the sidebar, pictured below:
From there, you'll want to click on Add New under the Users section in the sidebar, as highlighted above.
This will bring you to the following screen:
You'll want to set the Username to be "Modern Retail". For the Email field, please use the email given to you by your Project Manager. If you're not sure which address to use, feel free to ask and we'll make sure you're set up correctly. First Name, Last Name, and Website are all unnecessary, so you can leave them blank. For Password, WooCommerce will auto-generate a secure password for the account, so you can ignore that one too. Leave Send User Notification checked.
Lastly, for Role, click on the drop down and select Administrator, as pictured below:
This will allow us to perform all the necessary work in the WooCommerce backend to get your integration rolling. If you have any further questions, please get in touch with your Project Manager, or submit a Support Request.
