Overview
Sometimes, for one reason or another, you may want to remove an item from a Local Delivery order before it ships. This can be useful if a customer wants to cancel part of an order, or if something is incorrect in an inventory screen. This article will show you how to cancel items in a Local Delivery order, just in case.
Cancelling Items
The first step for cancelling items is to find the order you want to remove an item from. To do this, you first need to go to the Orders page under Local Delivery, found in the sidebar in the Admin Panel.
From here, you'll see a list of all Local Delivery orders made for your store. You can scroll through this list to find what you want, or sort through them using the search fields at the top of each column.
Once you've found the order you want to cancel an item for, click on the Order Number, situated inbetween the #ID and Status columns. This will open up the window for that specific order, seen below:
At the bottom of this window you'll see a list of any items included in the order, with a Cancel button on the right. Click Cancel for whichever item(s) you want to cancel. In the above screenshot the 2nd item has already been cancelled, so we can cancel the first or third item instead. Clicking Cancel will open the following window:
This window will show whichever item you're trying to cancel; make sure you're looking at the right item before hitting Yes to finish cancelling the item.
The Grand Total from the order window will not change based on cancelled items; it will reflect the total for the original order.
