Overview
Typically, the default order for a collection will be set to "newest to oldest", displaying the most recently made available product first on the collection page. However, you can control the display order of any collection. This help page will show you how to manage the display order of products on the front end of your web site.
- Log into Shopify > Product > Collection
- Search for the collection you wish to update.
- in the Products area, change the sort by to Manually.
- Now you can drag and drop the products into whatever order you'd like.
Note: There is no "save" button to save your new order; Shopify simply saves the new order for you. You will see a message from the bottom of the screen notifying you that your collection has been updated.
