The first step in the Onboarding Process is creating a new client in the Pickup Hub.
On the Main Dashboard, open the Clients menu, and Add Client. This will take you to the Add New Client form. From here, you will use the steps below to create a new client in the Pickup Hub.
1. Organization -- The parent company for the client. In many cases, the Organization is the same as the Client name. Occasionally, one parent company may have several clients under its umbrella. For example, Frank's Outdoor Supplies may be the parent company for Frank's Fishing, Frank's Bait & Tackle, and Frank's Boating.
2. Client Name -- The public-facing client name.
3. URL -- The website URL for the client's webstore. During setup, this may be a development URL (you will update to the production URL once the project is ready to go live). The URL is everything after https://www
4. Website Folder -- Usually the client name, with no spaces. This field is used for server hosting and should match the FTP folder from Eagle.
5. PFID -- A unique, three-letter abbreviation associated with the website folder. It is usually an abbreviation for the client name. For example, Frank's Fishing would have a PFID of FFH.
6. Live -- This is the toggle to make the Pickup Hub live to the client. During this stage, please leave it as "No". You will toggle it during the training phase.
7. Platform -- This is the website/platform used by the client.
8. Business -- If the client utilizes a web agency requires access to the Pickup Hub, please enable them. This is not a required field.
9. Partner -- If the client's POS dealer or reseller requires access to the Pickup Hub, please enable them. This is not a required field.
10. Integration -- Please select the POS for the integration
11. Owner -- This is the owner for the client's account, which is usually the owner of the business itself. You will need at least one owner per client. Owners have full permission access within the Pickup Hub.
When all fields are complete, click Save Client. The new client will be added to the Dashboard.
