Question:
What is grid pricing?
Answer:
Grid pricing, also called item level pricing, allows retailers to have multiple variants of a product, all priced the same. For example, a clothing store selling the same shirt in red, blue, and green. They are the same product, the only difference is the color, so they are all priced the same.
In Counterpoint, all gridded items must be priced the same, unless you have Counterpoint Advanced Pricing. Advanced pricing allows you to charge different prices for certain variants of products. For example, a retailer might price a large pink coat and a small brown coat differently.
