Do you have a rough outline of what data attributes will be needed for the products themselves? I’m keeping myself busy by pulling items out of the vendor catalogs that we have available and converting them into website ready CSV files for upload. I figure product name, UPC, description, cost, and the other basics are a given but wanted to see if you knew of any other information that I might be overlooking would be necessary. Thank you.

The answer to this question really depends on what you're selling and how much information you want to include about the product.
Minimally you're probably looking at the following fields:
1. Name
2. Short Description
3. Long Description
4. Image
Don’t get me wrong the possibilities are endless:
5. Detailed Product Information
6. Product Q & A
7. Videos
8. PDF Spec Sheets
9. Customer Reviews
10. Etc.
I would start with 1-4 above and would be careful not to underestimate the time it will take you to get quality images. Gathering up and getting images for your products is probably one of the more time-consuming tasks.
