Good Day. We are exploring the possibility of building a WooCommerce online storefront for our client and integrating it with their Aptos POS. Is this something you have had experience with? I do not see it listed, but I hear you are a leader in POS and ERP Integration!
Please let me know as soon as you can as our timeline is pretty aggressive (not that that is your problem!).
Hey, good day to you as well!
Thank you for your interest in Modern Retail. We don’t yet have an integration with Aptos POS, but we’d love to help you with one.
I took a look at the Aptos POS website but could not find any information about an application programming interface (API) or import/export capabilities (however, I may have missed it). If Aptos POS has an API, then it would be fairly easy to get their API connected to our Middleware/API. If they don’t have an API, then we could always use Modern Retail's Inventory CSV/XML Uploader using FTP. We have a variety of other methods that we’ve used over the years which we could also try, please read:
May I make a suggestion? Could you please ask your client to send an e-mail to your representative at Aptos POS and let them know you’re interested in getting their application integrated with your website? If you copy me on the message, I’ll immediately reply asking to set up a meeting with Aptos POS. Getting our developers to talk with their developers, even for 30 minutes, makes a huge difference and can really help to “jump start” the integration efforts.
You’ll find we’re experts at POS and ERP integrations, it’s something we've been doing for over a decade and have amassed a great deal of knowledge and technology doing 1,300+ integrations. Here are just some of the articles that I can share with you that make us different.
- Building a Better Mousetrap
- Avoid Overselling (Allocation) - Absolutely a brilliant feature!
- Outages & Automatic Recovery
- Difference Engine
- 100% Inventory Accuracy
- Connecting Disparate Systems
- Integrating Existing Products
