The New York Times wrote an interesting article today about how retailers are manipulating the List Price on their website to entice customers to make a purchase. However, their practices are coming under scrutiny as some believe their are incorrectly, maybe even deceivingly, showing List Price as an inflated number.
I'm susceptible to this practice as anyone else, even though I've been in the business and an internet shopper for over 20 years. Because let's face it, everyone wants to get a good deal.
