Question
Hello, we want to integrate WooCommerce with the ERP system of one of my clients, but they have a very old system made in Fox. Can you help us with this Fox/WooCommerce integration?
Answer
Thank you for your interest in Modern Retail and our WooCommerce Integrator. I think we can help you even though your client is using a very old system done in Fox.
Do you know if they are able to export an “inventory report” from their system in a CSV format? (XML is also supported, but I suspect they will be using CSV.) If we can get a report of all the inventory in the system with prices, quantity on hand, etc., then we do this integration for you. The following articles discuss our CSV/XML Updater:
The articles discuss how we can “manually” update inventory on your website using this report if you are unable to “automatically” send it to our FTP site. If you can automatically send it, then we can completely automate the updating of your inventory in WooCommerce.
The 3rd article discusses how we can also provide you with a CSV or XML file so you can import orders and customers into your Fox system from WooCommerce. However, we’re going to need your help to make this happen given you’ll need to write the code to grab the CSV/XML file from our FTP and insert it into your Fox system. We are able to write whatever CSV or XML file that you need, in whatever format that works.
You’ll find we’re experts at POS and ERP integrations; it’s something we've been doing for over a decade and have amassed a great deal of knowledge and technology. Here are just some of the articles we could share with you:
- Avoid Overselling (Allocation) - Absolutely a brilliant feature!

You can actually buy our “one-way” CSV/XML Updater online here:
If you needed us to work with you on a “two-way integration,” then it will be more but not horribly so.
