Question
I'm interested in what differences there are between your integration and the various platforms. I'm currently looking into what would serve the client best since I have experience with several of the platforms you integrate with.
For example, I know magento handles multi-store inventory quite well, but WooCommerce and Shopify have a bit of trouble in that area. How would your products integration handle situations, like multi stores, on WooCommerce?
Answer
From an integration standpoint, it is very similar across all 4 platforms (Bigcommerce, Magento, Shopify and WooCommerce). Sure you could use multiple sites within Magento and our products would dump into the default store, where you could assign them to other stores in Magento. Regarding multi-store in WooCommerce, Shopify and Bigcommerce, you are correct they don’t “natively” support multi-store like Magento does. However, we do have the ability in our Integration Middleware to send a catalog to multiple domains or sites. This would allow you to send RunIt’s catalog to two (or more) completely different Shopify sites.
Please let me know if you have any more questions. Thank you.
