I'm setting up a Shopify store for a customer who uses Sage BusinessVisions as their main in-store POS system. Are you able to integrate inventory between these two systems?

Thank you for your interest in Modern Retail. We would love to help you get your website integrated with Sage BusinessVisions. The following article describes your options around this integration:
I took a look at the Sage BusinessVisions website but could not find any information about an application programming interface (API) or import/export capabilities (however, I may have missed it). If Sage has an API, then it would be fairly easy to get their API connected to our Middleware/API. If they don’t have an API, then we could always use Modern Retail's Inventory CSV/XML Uploader using FTP. We have a variety of other methods that we’ve used over the years which we could also try.
May I make a suggestion? Could you please ask your customer to e-mail your representative at Sage and let them know you’re interested in getting Sage BusinessVisions integrated with your Shopify website? Ask them to copy both of us on the message, and I’ll immediately reply asking to set up a meeting with Sage. Getting our developers to talk with their developers, even for 30 minutes, makes a huge difference and can really help to “jump start” the integration efforts.
