Softone Integration

We are a certified representative of Softone ERP in Greece but also represents other ERP systems. Our company, in several cases, has implemented for its customers projects/solutions which were eventually made available for all Softone ERP owners.  We would like to learn more about your Integrator and how it might help our customers.  Thank you.

We would love to work with you and Softone ERP to develop an integration with Bigcommerce, Magento, Shopify and WooCommerce.  Modern Retail has been in business for 17 years and has been integrating with POS/ERP systems for over 10 years.  We’ve done over 1,200 integrations with a variety of POS and ERP systems.  Our approach is to partner with companies such as Softone, allowing you to focus on the ERP system and Modern Retail to focus on the integration with e-commerce platforms.

Our approach is unique in that we only have to do an integration ONCE with Softone ERP.  When the integration is done, Softone’s customers will immediate be able to integrate with Bigcommerce, Magento, Shopify and WooCommerce.

Given that you’ve done an integration with Softone ERP already, I suspect you’re well versed in the best way to get integrated with it.  We have a variety of ways of integrating Softone, but the two most common methods are to [1] use an API (either Softone’s API or our API) or [2] use our CSV/XML Uploader over FTP/SFTP.  You can read about these integration approaches here:

Either approach works, and I’m sure you’d know which method would be better for Softone.  Here’s some additional information on both of these approaches:

One of the things we’d need to figure out is if Softone will be doing the shipping or if it will be done in the e-commerce platform (Bigcommerce, Magento, Shopify and WooCommerce).  Shipping within Softone will take a bit more programming and has some considerations which you can read about here:

Our goal would be to partner with you to bring Softone ERP integrations to their customers; we cannot do it alone and don’t want to support things from the Softone side.  What’s nice is after we get this done for WooCommerce, we’ll immediately be able to sell the integrations for all other platforms:  Bigcommerce, Shopify and Magento!
