Google Analytics, Referral Exclusions

Question

Upon reviewing the Google Analytics with our marketing pro, she noted that we have some fraudulent referrals (google analytic spammers) showing on our reports that are skewing the data to the negative. She said that this must be blocked by the web host at the DNS. I have attached the screen shot of our list. The items we need to block are #6, #8, #9 and #10 (flating-share-buttons.com, fbschedules.com, get-free-social-traffic.com, and cymax.com).

What can we do in order to get these spammers blocked?

Answer

Setting up exclusions for these referrals is easy in Google Universal Analytics.  The following video is a great tutorial on how to exclude these domains from showing up in your referrals.
