Counterpoint Bigcommerce Integration

Question

We've been asked to build a new e-commerce site for our client using Bigcommerce.  They use a point of sale system called NCR Counterpoint, and I see this is something you support.  I also see you work with Bigcommerce.  They've asked that we evaluate if your integration solution will do the trick.

Not being familiar with Counterpoint at all, can you answer two questions for us?

1. We're assuming that the POS is a terminal/server system, and that integration will be between the web server and the NCR server. Can you give us a really short summary of the technical nitty gritty of the integration? How does data get delivered back/forth, any cron jobs, etc.
2. The client is on version 7 of Counterpoint. What are the minimum system requirements you need to do an integration?
