It looks like we will not need to stop the database and bring down your website.  The engineers are making the necessary disk changes now, which we hope will be completed in the next 45 minutes.

Our engineers working in conjunction with Rackspace's engineers have identified a problem with our primary MySQL database that runs your HipCommerce website.  This is causing intermittent connectivity issues to the database due to a disk expansion that occurred on Saturday, August 29th.

We're hoping we can make the necessary changes without completely bringing down this database.  If those attempts fail, then we'll be forced to stop the database, make the required changes, and start it back up again.  If this should occur your website would be unavailable for about 30 minutes.
