Does your Magento & Runit POS sync in real time? Does the stock level instantly update on Magento's end upon sale on the POS?
Answer
The integration between RunIt and Magento are as near "real-time" as we can make it. RunIt and Magento are two disparate systems, so it would be impossible to get them integrated in "real-time." The best anyone could hope for would be "near real-time." There are also limitations on the Magento side because updating the inventory constantly would most likely cause havoc with Magento’s index and cache. Instead, inventory is updated in "batches," which is usually every 30 or 60 minutes.
