Question
Hi, I may be bringing inventory online with a new website/e-comm setup. They use Sage300 and would like to minimize double-entry of their products, so we're wondering if you could help us with a sync/integration with WooCommerce? They'll have about 10,000 SKUs to start.
If you could, please provide as much detail as possible on how it would work. Thanks.
Answer
Thank you for your interest in Modern Retail and our WooCommerce Integrator. We don’t yet have a direct integration with Sage 300. However, all is not lost! We can do an integration with Sage using one of the following methods:
- API Integration
- Inventory CSV/XML Uploader
API Integration
I took a look at the Sage website but could not find any information about an application programming interface (API) or import/export capabilities (however, I may have missed it). If Sage 300 has an API, then it would be fairly easy to get their API connected to our API.
Using our API would completely automate the integration between Sage 300 and WooCommerce. Please read:
Inventory CSV/XML Uploader
We can do an integration with Sage using our Inventory CSV/XML Uploader:
We also have the ability to send orders to Sage using this same FTP site if you can figure out a way to get them imported into Sage 300. Please read:
Do you work with a Sage value added reseller (VAR) or consulting group? If so, I suspect we could work with your VAR to figure out the best way of getting Sage 300 connected to WooCommerce for you. If you want to send them an e-mail and copy me on the message, I’d be happy to jump in and talk to them to see what we can work out.
Does any of this work for you?
