Question
I currently manage a WordPress site for Vehicle Recycling shop. This shop uses a software called Hollander Powerlink to manage their inventory, pricing, images, sales, etc.
My client would be very VERY happy to be able to sell online seamlessly. If there is any way we can make it work, please let me know.
Just some more background information: This software stores the information locally on a single computer. BUT, there is a a thing called "EDEN (Electronic Data Exchange Network)" which somehow uploads that information to their website. My client wants to sell online, and I'm hoping you can help with this project. Thanks!
Answer
Thank you for contacting Modern Retail. I believe I found Hollander Powerlink here:
From the website I can’t quite tell if they have an Application Programming Interface (API) to connect to their system. Here’s what I recommend. Please ask your client to send an e-mail to his sales representative at Hollander Powerlink and let them know he's interested in connecting this website to Hollander Powerlink. Contact Us when this has happened and we'll be happy to meet with Hollander Powerlink to see what can be done!
The good news is that even if they don’t have an API, we can still get the two systems talking with each other by using an Inventory Report from Hollander Powerlink. Please read:
