Hello! I am a small jewelry company looking to build a site that shows some product to customers, but more-so allows me to have a password protected area that retailers can buy from. I currently have a site from Wix that I use, but it is just so basic that I am not happy with it. Thank you! Rachel

Given you are a smaller retailer, I would recommend either Shopify or WooCommerce. Shopify allows you to have a "wholesale" functionality on your website, but it requires you to use a 3rd party app like Locksmith. If you like to blog and believe in Content Marketing, then WooCommerce is a better fit. WooCommerce is open source, so it can be completely custom-built to your specific needs.
