JD Edwards EnterpriseOne WooCommerce Integration

Question

We are planning to build a B2C site to integrate with our WordPress site, but we also need it to integrate with our JD Edwards system. Is that something your WooCommerce extension could potentially do?

Answer

The version of JD Edwards I'm most familiar with is EnterpriseOne. Are you using this suite from Oracle?

To answer your question directly, we don’t have an integration today between JD Edwards and WooCommerce, but we’d love to have one.  There are generally two ways we can do an integration:

  1. Application Programming Interface (API)
  2. Inventory Report

Options #1 is the best option because they generally allow us to synchronize data between JD Edwards and WooCommerce.  If JD Edwards does not have an API, then we can always go with Option #2.  This option is what we call a “one-way integration” because it only updates your online inventory and does not send completed orders or customer information back down to JD Edwards.  You can read more about this report here:

If you’d like to get me in contact with JD Edwards, I’d be happy to get an engineer on the conference call to see what can be done and what options are available to you.  I can also hop on a call with you to explain these options in greater detail.

Please Contact Us when you're ready, and we'll help out any way we can.  Thank you.
