I just noticed that the URL for our shorts landing page reads:
/shop/clothing/Women-Skirts-Shorts?pg=all
How do we remove the "skirts" in the URL since it's only shorts?
Answer
If you change the Name of a department, you need to make sure that the Search Engine URL field on the Department Page (in Store Manager) is also changed.
This department must have originally been "Women-Skirts-Shorts," so you have to change the URL to "Women-Shorts" in Store Manager.
Next you will need to change the link on your site by going to WordPress > Appearance > Menus and editing the appropriate link.
