Overview

Working on your website's shopping Departments is one of the first items you will need to do to get started. Online, your departments will likely be the same as they are in-store; they are how you organize your products for easy shopping. For example, do you sell men’s and women’s clothing? Underneath each of those top level areas, how would you list the departments? Tops, bottoms, etc.

How to Create Departments in Store Manager

1. After logging into Store Manager, go to Products > Departments > Add.

2. Fill in Department information.

• Enter Name
• Check box after Live
• Enter Search Engine Title, Search Engine Description, & Search Engine URL
• Click Save

Note: You can reorder the display of departments by dragging and dropping the departments (see image #1).
