Quickbooks POS Integrator Installation

Overview

Modern Retail's Integrator allows you to connect Quickbooks POS to Store Manager and your web site.  In order for this Integrator to work it must first be installed and configured on the computer running your Quickbooks POS software.

Installation Instructions

Below are the steps you need to perform in order to install the Integrator:

  1. Before you start please make sure you have a backup of your Quickbooks POS Company Data.

    • You will find this option under File > Backup in Quickbooks POS.

  2. Download the Integrator ( Attached Below)

  3. Double-click on the MR_QBPOS file that was downloaded.

  4. Double-click on the QBPOS Exchange program inside this folder.

  5. Click the "Run" button in the pop-up.

    • This will start the installation process.

  6. Click the "Next" button.

  7. Click the "Next" button again, unless you want to change the location of the installation, which hardly anyone does.

  8. Click the "Next" button.

  9. Click the "Next" button again.

  10. Click the final "Next" button to complete the installation.

  11. Wait for the install to complete and then click the Finish button.

If needed , configure the Integrator to send and received data to Store Manager on a scheduled basis (optional but usually configured). (Read More)
