I have a bunch of email addresses to be added to my mailing list. How do I get them added?
Answer
Simple create a Support Request with an Excel spreadsheet containing all the email addresses you would like added. This spreadsheet should only have two columns:
- First & Last Name - It is also ok if the first and last name are in two columns instead of one.
- Email Address
Modern Retail will take this list and get it added to your Subscribers in Store Manager.

Modern Retail will upload one Excel spreadsheet per month at no extra charge. Additional lists and spreadsheets can be sent but an additional charge applies for each list that is uploaded. |

I know the list I'm giving you includes duplicated. Will those duplicate email addresses get added twice to the mailing list?
Answer
Having duplicate email addresses on your mailing list is impossible. Once an email address is added to your list it is impossible to add it a second time.

Question
I have a separate list of customer email addresses from my POS program, I know that I can export and we can add them to the website mailing list. I wondering if someone was on the web-list and unsubscribed, will the status remain unsubscribed if they are also listed on the POS list we are merging. Let me know if I'm not being clear.
Answer
Email addresses that are already on the list will be ignored. Therefore, if someone was Unsubscribed on your list and you gave us an Excel spreadsheet with their email address on it, their name will not be added and will not be changed to Subscribe because it is already there and therefore ignored.
