In this article, we will go over how product brands function in Shopify, and how the integrator configures product brands for your online store.
When a product comes over from your Point of Sales system, the integrator looks for the data in the brand field. If that information matches an existing brand in Shopify, then the product is added to that brand. If it does not match an existing brand, a new brand is created in Shopify.
