Overview
Shopify has their own solution for In-Store Pickup, working with Shopify Locations. While we recommend using our Curbside & In-Store Pickup feature, we do still support, to an extent, Shopify's solution. In this article, we'll talk about how Shopify's In-Store Pickup feature works with our integration.
Compatibility with Modern Retail's Solutions
If you're using Shopify's In-Store Pickup or related features, you cannot use Modern Retail's Ship from Store solution. Additionally, if you're using Shopify's In-Store Pickup option, the entire process needs to flow through Shopify; the Modern Retail Admin Panel cannot apply our rules to Shopify's proprietary In-Store Pickup feature.
If you must use Shopify's In-Store Pickup, but still need a Ship From Store-esque feature, we recommend utilizing ShipStation for your Shopify site. ShipStation is compatible with Shopify Locations, and are a trusted option we've worked with in the past. If this sounds acceptable to you, we recommend contacting your development agency to configure ShipStation for your site.
