Overview
Some of our clients sell items on their website that don't necessarily exist in their POS or ERP system. Orders with that type of item cannot function with our Ship from Store suite of features; in this article, we'll discuss what causes this problem, and a few other small details.
Irregular Items
When we refer to "irregular items" here, we're specifically referring to items that are not in your POS or ERP system. If you have items like this on your website, you're likely already aware of what they are. If you're not sure, you can try crosschecking items you're concerned about in your POS system.
Why Don't They Work With Ship from Store?
Ship from Store requires that items exist in your POS or ERP system in order for us to apply "rules", which are used to govern how Ship from Store works. You can read more about rules and how they work for Ship from Store here. If a single item in an order doesn't exist in your POS system, then the integrator won't be able to apply any rules you've set to the order, resulting in the order failing.
