How does Modern Retail handle deposits? Do deposits get handled differently if we're using tickets as opposed to open orders?
As you might expect, when an order is sent down as a ticket, the deposit is handled automatically. On the flipside, if you're using open orders, the deposit is sent as an additional entity down to Counterpoint; it's not necessarily considered the same as the open order it relates to. We recommend talking further with Modern retail and your Counterpoint users to determine which model is best for your business.
