Depending on your business, you may want to be able to configure sale prices in Lightspeed. In this article we'll go over the two main ways we can set sale prices up with your integration, so you can make an informed decision about what's best for your business.
Setting a Sale Price
There are two main ways we can configure sale prices for your integration.
- You can create a price type in Lightspeed (we recommend labelling it as "Websale" or something similar), and then inform us that you've done so. From there we can map that as the sale price in the integration, and when we get the sale price we will send that to your ecommerce platform. This option allows you to easily manage sale prices from Lightspeed.
- The other option (depending on your ecommerce platform) is for us to turn off sale price updates to your ecommerce platform. Then you can configure sale prices directly on the platform, as they won't be automatically updated by the integrator.
