You may, on occasion, need to resend an order or shipment to the PoS system. This might come up for a variety of reasons, but luckily it's incredibly easy to do from the Modern Retail Admin Panel. In this article we'll show you how to quickly and easily resend orders.
Resending an Order
To start, you'll want to head to the Orders>Shipments menu in the Admin Panel. You can find this by clicking on Orders on the left hand menu in the Admin Panel, and then clicking on the Shipments button underneath Orders.
This will pull up a list of all the shipments recorded in the Admin Panel. You can use the textboxes at the top of each column to help search for specific shipments; you can also look at the Orders>Orders menu (located above Shipments in the above image) to see more information on different orders; you can use the Order Number found on that page to help you search on the Shipments page.
As you can see, the leftmost column has a checkbox for each shipment. To resend shipments to the PoS system, click on the box associated with each order you want to resend.
Once you've selected all the orders you want to resend, click on the Resend Shipments to POS button in the upper left corner. Once you've clicked on that button, you should be done! If anything prevents the shipment from being resent, you'll see an error code with relevant details; if this happens, feel free to contact us with a support request in the Admin Panel. On the flipside, If you've changed your mind, you can also hit the Unselect button to unselect all the checked shipments.
